Adventure Day I took the lads for a wild walk to the bottom of Mt Shank Volcano. They were disappointed there was no lava but I sold it to them that we can make a word (Hi!) with some limestone rocks at the bottom and view it from the rim. ( a bit lame, but needed a distraction to avoid the whinging) A kangaroo jumped out of nowhere along the track (freaking us out), and we saw a snake on the road nearby. Read MoreLearning Day Today we were cavemen – went into both Tantanoola & Princess Margaret Rose Caves. The boys were surprised at how much they enjoyed the caves. They especially liked Princess Margaret Rose Caves as it was very deep down and had a lot more interesting features. Rule to remember Stalactites – ” hold on tight (hang down) stalagmites – ” might get to the top one day” (bottom). Helictites go sideways. Had an amazing experience tonight with the lads by scoring the closest vantage point to the bulls and broncos (without actually riding them). Met a former rodeo promoter that got us a position right between the judges near chute 6, and on the gate where the riders walk through after they have been bucked off.
