Partington Boys Road Trip – Day 4

Adventure Day I took the lads for a wild walk to the bottom of Mt Shank Volcano. They were disappointed there was no lava but I sold it to them that we can make a word (Hi!) with some limestone rocks at the bottom and view it from the rim. ( a bit lame, but needed a distraction to avoid the whinging) A kangaroo jumped out of nowhere along the track (freaking us out), and we saw a snake on the road nearby. Partington Boys Road Trip – Day 3

Learning Day Today we were cavemen – went into both Tantanoola & Princess Margaret Rose Caves. The boys were surprised at how much they enjoyed the caves. They especially liked Princess Margaret Rose Caves as it was very deep down and had a lot more interesting features. Rule to remember Stalactites – ” hold on tight (hang down) stalagmites – ” might get to the top one day”  (bottom). Helictites go sideways. Driving & Action Day A ‘Bucking’ Good Time Had By All A Day in the life of a cowboy!….Mt Gambier Rodeo. Had an amazing experience tonight with the lads by scoring the closest vantage point to the bulls and broncos (without actually riding them). Met a former rodeo promoter that got us a position right between the judges near chute 6, and on the gate where the riders walk through after they have been bucked off.
