The Partingtons have now passed the 24 hour mark in the assembly of our new basketball inspired garden statue. This project has been lead by T. Partington as foreperson, and 2IC B. Partington . We so far have the main poles inserted incorrectly, can no longer remove them, and have re-drilled 4 new backboard holes as corrective action.. We have now missed Max’s birthday and we are still struggling! … We finished by the following night!

        It is Max’s 13th birthday next week and the child wants a top shelf basketball ring. I did not realise this ring involved me giving up my entire weekend as well! With that much assembly required, can you imagine how long that will take a Partington????
