Zak Takes on Wedding & Wins
Very proud of my 15yo son Zak Partington who recently took on the challenge and responsibility of filming and producing a wedding video for a couple who were married at Grange Golf Club recently. Zak and a friend were innovative and placed an advert on Gum Tree and were hired to take on their first official video job . All of the wedding guests were told not to use their phones throughout the day & night as they had ‘official videographers’ on the job….no pressure! The boys did not know anyone at the wedding and had no supervision, direction or advice from any parents either.
The lads love their equipment and use steadycams, go Pro cameras, a drone and specialist audio equipment to produce the best possible video for the clients. I viewed the raw footage yesterday and I was super impressed as they captured so many new angles and impromptu moments that most videographers don’t. Their attention to detail was amazing and you actually feel like you are a guest at the wedding when viewing it. The video will be edited in the next few weeks.
Zak is contemplating his future career direction at present and I believe he may have found his niche. Zak will be filming and editing my band ‘The Holeproofs’ playing at Colley Reserve (Glenelg) this saturday morning at the Alzheimer’s Australia Memory Walk.
If you have an event you would like captured on video at very reasonable rates before he starts charging the big bucks….please contact me
