Reply Letter to my 12yo son Max!:
Dear Max,
I have spotted your note on our home office door and I cant believe I actually didn’t disturb you on your holidays as you must be so busy “livestreaming” (whatever that is?).
I gather you are burning up our family internet data allocation and putting load on our modem etc making every electronic device in the house run slow.
We can no longer download movies on Apple TV anymore due to all the rubbish (games) you and your brother are putting on our hard drives.
I am impressed that you have used manners on your note, and I look forward to those transferring to your speech! Am pleased there are no spelling errors, but you may need to work on your neatness.
The fact you have done absolutely nothing for the last 8+ weeks, and the fact you are starting a (very expensive) brand new school in a few days you may want to consider getting off the computer and cleaning your room plus getting ready for school etc …..before I kick the door in!
I hope facebook was a suitable way of communicating with you at such a busy time. I look forward to receiving your report card at the end of term 1. Let’s hope these computer skills you have honed over the holidays pay off.
