Is this the Fussiest Person in Australia?
The person below ( let’s call her ‘Eastern Suburbs Jane’) now orders her ham & cheese focaccia’s by HEIGHT!
She asked me to buy her a 19mm high focaccia that she always get from the same shop. The guy in the shop thought I was insane, and regretfully advised he was outta stock. He decided to grab a thicker focaccia and remove a few millimetres from top and bottom of the inferior focaccia and said ” she wont know the difference”.
I beg to differ. Upon my return with lunch – ‘Eastern Suburbs Jane’ took a bite and said” It’s not right…It’s not the same… It’s not as good, but I spose I will eat it anyway!”
