Read MoreI was recently walking down Hutt St, City and found this cafe which has been purpose built to give unemployed people some barista and waiting experience to give them a head start. I believe it is a church based group, and the concept certainly could be adopted by others to create opportunities for those less fortunate. Great signs and attitude. Bravo!

( too far away) We are not allowed to put anything heavy in it ( under 2 tonne). Not literally, but for lunch we visited the Westcare Centre near Whitmore Square and joined 100 of Adelaide’s people who are ‘sleeping rough’ to gain insight into what it’s like to live below the poverty line. I drive past it everyday and always wondered why it is continually booming when the rest of retail and hospitality is in a flat spin?
