Is This The End of The Guitar?
Is it just me or have our teenagers not discovered guitar based music? My kids took over my music in the car recently and they played absolute rubbish, song after song. I am outraged about outrage. C’mon people we have become professional ‘Do-Gooders’ where the default emotion for everyone about every topic is, you guessed it…OUTRAGE. ‘Art’ Street Party – Brightens Up Kent Town
This street party was very ‘arty’ and super cool and showcased many of South Australia’s leading artists.Food & wine was also available with some fabulous bands performing. My warehouse was involved and were proud to showcase award winning artist Dannae Thyssen’s paste-ups of her ‘Down a Rabbit Hole’ collection on our massive charcoal brick canvas. Whilst I personally cannot even draw a stick-man very well, I thought I could at least support artists that have some serious creative talent. My Impulse Buy of the Month – ‘Collapsible Drink Bottle’
I am not sure why I need a foldable drink bottle but I couldn’t resist trying one out. My bottle arrived this week from the USA and is heavier than I expected. It folds down as described no problem and you can have two different size bottles with my model. The spout pops open like a coffee cup does, but the big drawback is this invention does not hold ‘hot drinks’..ahhhhh! After reading about the scathing reviews on comedian Lawrence Mooney and also Adelaide restaurant ‘Hill of Grace’ I am just wondering whether us members of the public should make up our own mind in future?
